I need to replace the tires on my 68 Camaro Convertible. I currently have 205/75/R14's and want to keep the original knock off rims. My mechanic said I could probably replace with 215/70/R14's if I can't find suitable 205's. The car is a "driver" with a rebuilt 350. It's got the original 2 speed power glide and I only drive it on nice weekend days, so I don't mind buying a softer tire that might have superior performance.

Any recommendations?

Bradley try this tire size calculator. It's works great for compairing tire sizes, profiles and the effects on your speedometer of various size tires.
