I am rebuilding my front end (or...I'm at that palce in the restoration) and I'm looking for front shock suggestions.
Here's what I'm working with;
Performance Susupension's poly front end kit.
Moog 6320 springs.
Will be adding disc brakes. The car has a new 1981 Z/28 steering box, a 327 with a auto trans and 15" wheels.
I'd like a tight new car like feel if possible.
Any suggestions on what shocks I should be looking at?

IMO KYB shocks are not good, very stiff. The Edelbrock IAS are decent. If you don't have a PT G-machine, there a great alternative. If you're going lowered with a Hotchkis style sping then look at the Bilsteins.

It seems on all Bilstein sites i've looked at, that their is only one available for my car. It's the Bilstein HD.
Is that the one you're talking about?

i don't think they make a 'sport' shock for the first gen. the 'hd' is all they have. the re-valved bilsteins are actually a hotchkis part and you can find it on their site.

you can get the hotchkis revalved bilsteins from Summit too.

I just looked at the hotchkis shocks on the Summit site. The driver side shock looks very different to the passenger side???
This is considered a good "sport" or close to modern stock shock?

I had it wrong, they are two different shocks.
HSS-70010012 and HSS-71010012.
The 700 looks like a typical shock, the 710 looks like a Bilstein?

since you have a lower spring rate and not lowered, i'd go with the bilsteins, edlebrock ias, or koni classics. have you checked out this thread?
