Hello all---for everyones previous posts on floorpan replacement and welding tips---thanks a bunch.
I have '69 that I am replacing the front floor pans.
My question is about welding the patch panels to the rockers.
My replacement panels have a 1" metal edge bent down at a 90 degree angle.
Do I plug weld this edge to the rocker in the same spots as the factory spot welds or weld along the entire side? Or both?

We just finished my 67 (floor pans that is...) and did both.

I plug welded mine in the same holes that I drilled out the factory spot welds.

I think either way or both would be fine. Whichever you do, remember to use weld thru primer to help prevent rust.
