I have an 88 iroc z 305 tpi... a while back it was running real bad. when i started it if i didnt actually pump the gas pedal it would stall. If i stopped at a light the rpm and oil pressure gauge would drop and it got so bad that it would just stall. I found out my air tube was broken. Had that replaced and also a new fuel pump cause that went as well. MY camaro was running great no problems at all. Now a month and a half later the same thing is starting all over again. After the car warms up it starts to run better but before the air tube was replaced it just got worse as time went on..to the point i couldnt drive it...i also had an entire tune up done cap/wires plugs all that to trouble shoot this problem...CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME no machanics can figure it out. :( :(

An air tube problem probably caused no more then a noisy situation. Probably not your problem. You don't really offer much info to work with. Does the check engine light come on? How is the fuel pressure? So you have had a fuel pump, cap, rotor, wires & plugs replaced? Anything else? Have you taken it back to the place that changed you fuel pump?

I had the same problem way back when the car was new. It was the MAP Sensor. The Check Engine Light did not come on, but the code was stored in the computer. Check your Owner's Manual. There is a way to read a code without plugging the car into a Diagnostic Hand Held Tester. Also purchasing a Chilton's manual and reading it to familiarize yourself with the car would be helpful.
I sold the car to my Father-In-Law. I will ask him the way to check the codes. The Check Engine Light will blink, pause then blink again. That is how you will be able to identify the code. If the light blinks once, then pauses and blinks five times after that, it is a code 15. That will identify your problem.

If you think it is throwing a code, I always hit the local Auto Zone. They have handhelds and will read the codes for free. Looks like there are a few Auto Zones in Rochester.
