Hi every one---I am new here and this is my first post.I have been a member on team chevelle for about 6 years or so. I just got a 68 camaro hugger orange --327 --3 speed in the floor--black vinyl top car. I have added the front and rear spoiler painted semi flat black.I ordered some of the black decals that go across the nose and runs down the side to the doors.Now that I have them I really dont know where they are supposed to go. Can some one with this style stripe please post some close up pics so I can get an idea of correct placement??? Thanks in advance--Danny

Click on Showroom at the top of our screen just below the Team Camaro sign on the left. Then click on Main Showroom, scroll down and select Member Showrom. You should find what you are looking for.

There are hundreds of pictures on-line showing how the SS stripes are supposed to be aligned and Kevin gave an option as well. Not sure of what stripe kit you have, but if its the 3 piece kit, I sugges working from the door to the header panel. The middle of the stripe on the doors is exactly on the body seam and from there you can align the two other pieces on each side. Hope this helps.

The picture of the DANA with the Cragars on it is from Carlisle this year after the Supercar Workshop cleaned it up some. The other pictures are from when i first located the car here in Hawaii 2 years ago

Especially notice how the "350" is inside the 90* curve and how the stripe ends right under the door lock.

The factory assembly manual lays out how it should go across the header panel.
