Hi all,
I searched the forums but couldn't find any advice on this... I am getting ready to remove my engine and trans, then subframe. My questions is, if I am going to be replacing the existing fenders, should I still pull the front clip at once? Or would it be easier to just pull the fenders, hood, grille, etc... as individual pieces. The car has not been painted yet, so I'm not too worried about panel alignment or minor scratches.
Thanks!

I just took my front clip off. Here is my opinion...if you have some help, take it off in one piece, if you are doing it by yourself...do it in pieces. I took mine off in pieces and it wasn't that bad at all.

Tell ya the truth I'd still take it off in one piece. Then put it back on in one piece once done with the engine, trans, and sub. Then once you have it all re-aligned then I'd change the fenders. That way, your looking at a series of small steps instead of a whole project. This may sound like a stupid idea to many but I have a small mind and like to focus on one thing at a time :D

LOL... You're not alone there :) If my wife tells me to pick up something at Home Depot, I forget to buy what I went there for in the first place!
Thanks for the suggestions.

I would fit up my new fenders and get the alignment rite, then remove the front clip. This just allows you to get the fenders lined up as they should be before you drop the front clip, and will hopefully make reinstalling the front clip alot easier, and hopefully require less tooling around..
