I've had a copy of this TV commerical for years but had no way to share it because it uses it's own viewer software. Well I found it online, go to www.chevynation.com and click on Chevy Clubhouse at the bottom. Then click on the Camaro on the screen and from there click on the last choice "Time Capsule"

I think it's a fantastic advertisment, even by todays standards.. Enjoy!

I love those old commercials. Notice there are no 350 emblems on the fender.

I finally got it to work but it locks the other tabs in my Firefox browser as long as that tab is in use. The screen does not have scroll bars so the bottom buttons are mostly hidden. Maybe its an issue for Firefox but it did the same thing with my IE Explorer, thought Id mention it. Cool photos and that 67 volcano ad was aweseom for sure, great find :D

Jim it's a flash presentation and should be in the center of your screen with several inches all around it. what is your screen resolution set to? Didn't have any issues with either version of IE but I didn't go between tabs at home, I'll try tonight. Will also give Firefox a try...

Great commercial! Thanks for sharing that with us Dennis. My first 68 rs camaro was the butternut color with black top. I Hope GM will release a commercial for the new camaro that will really grab the public like this one did.

Very cool!

Of all the cool things they pointed out I noticed the wing windows were NOT one of them. I guess they weren't too proud of them. :D

Just giving you '67 guys a little razzing. :boxing:

:beers:

Thanks for the google link Dan - they did cut some out of it though it's well over a min on the chevy nation site.

Jim there must be a flash size setting or something kinda like hitting the ctrl key and scrolling the mouse. there is no way those buttons should be at the bottom of the browser window making you think the window should scroll...

weird, my screen here in TC gets smaller or larger with Ctl and mouse scroll, but on that site, it wont work, locks up my TC tab and about the top 1/3 of those buttons is visible, just barely enough to click on, words not visible. At least there are the floating tabs in the face of the flash to click on :)

Maybe an older version of flash. I remember there use to be a right click in a flash window that let you resize the screen zoom in zoom out style...

All that smoke and fire, reminds me of what mine usually does when I start it after I test out some of my mechanic skills, or, lack of them I mean :)

That is so cool. Talk about screaming 60s though...the announcers tone is classic. Never heard of an "energy absorbing steering wheel" before.

thanks for posting...that is a cool Camaro Commerical

Seems Chevy went through a lot to offer the 1967 SS350 Camaro as a well balanced , sporty road car with the new 350 engine

then along comes the Z/28, SCCA Trans Am racing, drag racers with Super Stock 396 375 HP Camaros, and hi po shops selling 427 450 hp Camaros.

they may have stole some of the thunder the SS350 should have enjoyed

Here's another old commercial with a '69 Z. This car has a flat hood, didn't all Z's have the cowl induction hood? :)
