Hi everyone, I hope this is the place to ask this Q. What do you folks think I will run (1/4 mile)? I have a '67 camaro, about 3200 lbs, 327 cid with stock bottom, RPM intake, 750 vac sec carb, RPM cam, sportsman 2 heads (64cc), 1 3/4 headmans, 2 1/2 pipes with 50 series flowmasters, M-20 trans, 4.10 gears, and 26.5 inch tires. Thankyou, EB

Without knowing certain important factors like heads, pistons, cam, etc. it's impossible to ballpark it. If all fairly mild, low 13's.

If you can get it to hook up, low 13's. Might even squeek into the 12's if it hooks REALLY well. Otherwise mid 13's.

Thanks guys, I thought it would be somewhere in the low to mid 13's. Mbrekke, BTW what kind of stuff are you running? Is it about the same as me? If so, about what kind of HP is it? Around 380 HP?

Engine Analyzer sees it as about 340 hp as installed in the car. Drag Racing Analyzer predicts 12.70's/109 as built on some reasonably sticky tires. Putting an exhaust system on the car more in line with the small engine results in 355 hp, a vastly improved torque curve and 12 flat at 114.

Mine's 'old school'. TRW dome pistons. 462 'hump' heads, 1.94's. Comp 280 magnum cam. RPM intake with a Q-jet. 1 5/8 headers.

With some decent drag radials it would run low 13's, as is. I have to ease it out of the hole, then nail it.

Thanks again !!!!!!!!!! All of you guys. I wish I could test it out, but no track here now in HI. Gotta go to a neighbor isle to race (too expensive by ferry :(, $130 round trip plus hotel for the night, and gas). Hope they open 1 here again. EB

I know how you feel. They closed the track I used to go to also. There was talk of them building a new track, about 25 miles from my house, at the next little town up the highway, but I'll believe that when I see it... The next closest track is over 250 miles round trip for me. Haven't made it there yet. :(
