I finally started ripping the bad sheetmetal off. I have had the repro panels for a year and need to get this project rolling. Here is what i've done so far:
I pulled the drive train. Installed front sheetmetal and aligned. (not perfect, but good enough to know it can be made close to perfect). braced up inside of car so body does not flex. and removed roof, 1/4 panels and rear panel. I used an angle grinder and electric nibbler. I still need to remove parts of the driver side 1/4 panel where the welds are and sand blast to see what can and cant be saved. I already noticed the outer wheelhouse is rotted around the outer edge. I just ordered both from Belair Bobs. I'll attempt to post a couple of pics so ya'll can see what i'm up against.
