A good while back I joined this site.. completly cluseless about cars and with nothing more then a rusting pink 1969 camaro. Well, I am happy to report that work will start full on it in september. Digging up the history of this car has really been rough on the emotions. The guy helping me with it knew my mother and knew the car back when it was in its prime. I'll keep you all up to date, anf thanks for all yout help and suport.
oh... and yes I'm keeping it my moms custom pink!

Great news Eris--keeping plugging along and you'll get it done.

Wise decision. You'll never regret it. Take plenty of pics for the album.

I remember. Glad to hear back from you and that things are going to move along! What were the words on the rear spoiler again?

You'll be happy you brought it back to glory... except I expect you'll have to explain/defend the color choice a lot ;) .

Good luck with the project. I think you are making the right choice to keep it your mom's color.

It also makes you think twice about the other camaros that we question their appearance. They may have stories we're not aware of. Can't say that's the case with mine. I just like red with white pin striping. :beers:

Saw a Pink 68 at our local show last year, it looked good. Not my type of color but it was nice 68 owned by a lady and built for by the husband.

Goes without saying it had a pink panther on it!
