Wondering if anyone one has the snap-on MT1460. When ever I connect it to the neg. side of the coil it stalls the car out. Not sure whats wrong, any help would be appreciated.

Everett#2390 Jul 13th, 07, 07:37 AM Negative clamp to ground, red clip to postive battery post, green clip to coil neg terminal. Or if its a two clip device, neg to ground, the other clip to coil neg terminal. Myfirst 69SS Jul 13th, 07, 07:42 AM That is what I am doing and the minute I hook it to the coil the car stalls. I usually set poins .017-.019 and be done, when I had points.
