Definitely a banned item ... please report!
I especially love this in the description:
"I do not have trim tag or vin plate, but you can have them made."

As seller implied, any Camaro can be turned into the car on the paper with an illegally manufactured VIN tag (which are obtainable) making it fairly easy to pass off a stolen or misrepresented car to an unsuspecting buyer.
Even destroyed beater Camaros are going for $5K. Not a bad return on a $300 investment plus the cost of the VIN tag especially if they paid nothing for the car.

68z28sd Jul 13th, 07, 12:13 PM well i hope we all know what happens to people who cheat and lie? they go to a very hot place in a mustang!
68driver57 Jul 13th, 07, 12:41 PM I was at a salvage a couple of weekends ago and heard several guys talking about how you could go to Colorado or Nebraska and do exactly what the guy on Craig'slist is talking about. Apparently there are folks who think it's OK to misrepresent vehicles. It's sad when you think about it, it sort of takes the fun out of the hobby.

You can flag a listing on Craigslist just like eBay's reporting system. If it gets enough flags, they remove the listing.
