Hey everybody. I have a 1969 camaro I was told it is a ss car. It's from van nuys cali, I have figured out everything on the cowl tag except this at the lower right side of it. It is H619. Cant find anything on this code, I have also read that california cars are harder to decode. I dont see the typical SS codes you would find on norwood cars. Help If possible THANKS Steve

That number is a body sequencing number used by GM at Van Nuys. It has no decoding value in terms of determining option codes.

Also steve, norwood SS cars did not have a 'typical' SS info on the cowl tag either. Norwood cars changed cowl tags during the 69 build year. More info. is found at www.camaros.org :) welcome to Team Camaro too
