Sorry another heads question
What is the difference between small block edelbrock perfomer heads vs edelbrock rpm heads. I can't seem to find a comparision of the 2. I'm considering picking up a set of performers for $400 locally. I want a head good for 6-6.5k Rpm's and curious if I shoulld pass

The performers are "stock replacement" heads, don't bother, get the RPM's!

If I remember correctly, the only real difference between the performer and performer rpm head is that the performer has passages for a heat crossover, and the rpm does not.

That's what I remember as well. Identical ecxept for drilling the heat riser ports.
