HI I HAVE THE ADJUSTABLE COMP CAMS PUSH ROD LENGTH CHECKER. MY q IS HOW DO I START? SHOULD THE VALVE BE OPEN OR FULLY CLOSED WHEN CHECKING FOR CORRECT LENGTH?

so i would install my rocker like normal setting las etc. and turn the engine over a couple of revolutions and look at the marks made on the valve tip?
do i do this for all valves?
