I am new to the forum. I have a 1969 Camaro RS. I have just finished an 8 year retifacation on it. It is a 350 4V 4 speed car. Hugger Orange, White vinyl top, White houndstooth interior. I have heard about an rare RS that was an SS with RS badging. Has anybody heard of such a camaro?

welcome Mike, its probably a wives tale about any SS that only left the factory with RS labels. It just wasnt done. There are 69 camaros that can be cloned into SS and there are some that are mislabled, like mine that previous owner did, he slapped SS on the sides and front and back but its not an SS. It happens all the time. The truth about a cars pedigree is in the original sales papers, POP card and/or all the accumulative evidence of the cars parts that can be figured out in our TAG section. Feel free to post your VIN and Cowl tag info there and folks can help you fine tune your car's pedigree. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the welcome. I will get some pics posted as soon as I can. I finished this car about 1 1/2 years and have been showing it and doing pretty good. It was used in a TV commercial last week to advertise a local carshow. I love the first gen camaros. I do have My RS posted on YAHOO custom autos. Can I make a link to that? Its at
