This time a saw a 69 that had been imported to europe trough the GM office in Bienne, Switzerland.

This car was assembled in Norwood, cars up to modelyear 1968 could be assembled in this plant.

Note the special Norwood tag. Note the SS and HB code on the Swiss trimtag.

Car it self looks great and is recently taken cared of. Personally I think it looks great in black and silver stripes than the original white/black vinyl it should be.

Nice car, I'm suprised no ones criticized the rivets on the vin tag, obviously been removed and re-riveted from the top with the wrong rivets after replacing the top of the dash with a repro, square vin tag cut out. Same goes for the trim tag.

A lot of countries in Europe have very different laws about the issue as the States. For example, in Holland the vin tag and trim tag have no value. There has to be a chassisnumber though...and if the factory didn't provide one the dutch DMV would stamp your chassis with the vin number when the car is being registered. So if you get pulled over and the cops try to verify your car, they don't care about any plates riveted to the car anywhere....

That's correct...Here in Holland the tags don't mean a thing...just the chassisnumber.
