Hi Everyone. . . First time posting here, although I have been lurking for a while.
I have a chevy 406, dart heads, solid lifter cam. I have noticed a loss in power since I T'd off the carb to the PCV valve to the transmission vacuum line. Problem is, I also made a couple of other changes (new header gaskets, switched to synthetic oil, and switched to posi rear end) at the same time, so I am not sure what the root problem is. The engine ran much harder prior to those changes.
1. Could the PCV valve connection be the cause of a loss in power?
2. One more q, what could cause a leak in the coil (MSD)?
Thanks in advance.
