Do you need to be a member to post a classified ad? If not how do you know if the person placing the ad is trust worthy?

Anyone can post ads in the public area at:
http://www.camaros.net/classifieds/ but the members do show up with the flag and there is also a seller rating system where you can read feedback others have left. One of the key factors in trust seems to be signup dates. If someone has been registered here for over a year then the trust factor is higher as otherwise we would have kicked them out for complaints.

As always, keep clear communication with the seller. We have had very few member to member deals that went sour.

I see some member ads in there such as belairbob but I don't see a flag? I see it in bold though. Maybe I am over looking something but how do you get all the info on these guys? Do you have to search? If you click on the seller name it gives some information but no reg date, just ad info. I must be looking in the wrong place.......

Thanks Joe, it seems somewhere amongst the upgrades the flags got lost. I'm looking into it. As of now it seems you have to look up the name in the the forum list to see more about them (other than the feedback).

Ok, I've added a new field "profile" that links to the forum information which shows registration date, number of posts and whether they are a member or not.
That should help.
