I am getting gasoline fumes from my fuel cell in trunk.The cap in not sealing and it is leaking gas when it is full.You can get the fuel cell cap in two different designs from Summit.One is the plastic cap assembly w/o-ring which is what i have now or you can get the d-ring style.Which is better and will i still have fumes?I was told you could put a tee in the vent line and install a charcoal filter or what ever it was(maybe a vaccumn canister) like they used in the 70's in the vaccumn line to brake booster and it would elimate fumes. Ever heard of such???
