ok so i have not really been checking the forums and it seems as if i have not been on here for ages. i was wondering if anyone could tell me if this looks to be what it is advertised as a 1968 camaro ss/rs. it has the two red lights in the back and has a 12 bolt. only thing is the body pieces dont match? blue and black?

Things I noticed, No Marker Lights in rear quarter, and No Astro Balls or Hole in Dash where they should be. Wrong Tail light Housings, looks like a 67 to me...Just Noticed the Wing Window on the Pass side. One thing for sure a 68 it is Not ! Perhaps the dealer did a typo ....

67 gas cap and steering wheel. If that is a $14,500 car, I feel much better about what I paid for mine. Mike. :beers::beers:

I'd say it is a '67, along with the items already mentioned......the passenger door has a wing window. It appears all but the drivers door and the discription say '67. Hodge podge fur sure.

wow, I thought the countless hours I spend reading this site I might of adsorbed a little wisdom. I missed Summits comment about the desirable wing window.

Definitely a 67 they removed the wing window on the drivers side. Could ask about the trim tag if you’re really interested.
I like the 69 on the next page http://weselloldkars.com/showcar.htm?19691081139_92703ca_0_1004366 yee ha lets go wheel-in !

Anyone can restore a car but it takes real balls to cut up a classic like that. :clonk:
Deserves its own forum.

A very well equipped (optioned) '67 RS, no doubt.

Two excellent deals in his inventory: '73 Nova & The '65 Dodge Coronet convert, both of these you can drive and are cheaper in price.

The sleeper of the pack is the Pontiac station wagon w/wood sides. Already has a V8.

Fenders are probably from another car and it looks like it is a '67 door on the drivers side w/the vent window and track removed. Probably to do some body work on the upper front part ofthe door.

I'd have to imagine most of the dash pieces and headlight system are MIA. That thing is going to need a ton of cash to get 'er done.

Forget the brakes, engine, etc... first thing in order is a new set of seat springs, foam, and some seat covers. That front seat would get a high note out of you at the first good bump w/that spring hanging out.

As far as I can tell, the back seat is the only good part. :-)
