Well, I went to put the rear moulding around the the glass and found that the studs to mount the clips are gone on the drivers side. Looks like two studs by comparing to the right. Is there a way to put studs back on. are they welded or is there a screw type? I sure hate to take the back glass back out. Too bad the previous owner didn't fix crap like this. I'm constantly finding crap like this.

I bought a few screw in replacements from the paint and body supply house, they should be common.

The replacement screws have sheet metal threads at the tip, with a shank and head similar to the CD welded pins on the original. You screw it in, and slide the clip over the pin head.

On mine, even after bottoming out on the threaded portion, the clips were loose. I ended up using sheet metal screws.

Remember to seal the screw hole with some dum-dum or something, to prevent leakage. Do not use silicone, unless you want a real rust problem.
