Great combo... Looks like a pretty plain Jane 396/375 if it all checks out. IMO, need to lose the slapper bars,column mounted tach,clunky shifter and add-on gauges. Car deserves in dash tach,gauge package and console IMO. The stamp experts can weigh in on the block,but the tag looks ok... Would like to know the rear axle code,and whether it has the single traction bar out back. Eric Kammerer Jul 17th, 07, 09:57 PM Rivets on the trim tag don't look original, and neither are the ones on the VIN tag. The "1" in the assembly stamp doesn't look normal, and seems like there's a ghost 7 behind the 7, if that makes sense. I'm no expert on the stampings, but they look off to me. |
