Tonight I got a little bored and decided to start stripping the car down. Before I did I got to looking at the front sheet metal. I noticed the drivers side was a good amount higher than the passenger side. I finished tearing everything down to the firewall and am trying to figure out where the difference is. I'd like to measure out the subframe to insure it's straight. Could anybody provide a few good measurements, or direct me to somewhere I could find the stock dimensions of the frame?

You can also do a search here for "subframe dimensions". Lots of good reading.....Jb

Thanks guys. Usually the first thing I do is a search. I'm not sure why I treated this any different.
How close should the '68 and '69 values be? I'm assuming almost identical given the small number of changes between the two years.
Doing a search I've found a lot of good info insuring the sub is square to the car, but very few on determining how straight the sub itself is. I've measured just about everything I could think of diagonally to insure it's square, although I didn't know if it was bent in a way that would keep square while still distorting the factory dimensions.
