I Just bought a 1988 Camaro with a 305 TPI and the fuel gauge is'nt working. where would be a good place to start? I've checked the price on a new sending unit and was hoping it might be something else!

Check the wires at the tank for a good conection first.

Ive got an 87 Monte Carlo with a 305 HO. My tach and speedo work but the oil pressure, water temp, and fuel gauges dont work. I know the Montes were known for bad circuit sheets behind the gauges. I havent checked mine yet to be sure but maybe thats something for you to think about.

A bad ground will make it read full.
