my 83 z28 has rusted in front of the floorpan the part where the floor angles up to the firewall. does anyone knowhere i can get this part of the floor. i have a 87 camaro would it be practical to cut this part out of the other car its a 2.8L car. found it on the side of the road.

You may want to try using the POR15 floor pan resto kit. I just did my trunk to take care of the rust and pin holes. It turned out great.

will it work if there is a large section missing. the hole is in an area with a few bends and is about 12" by 12"
