Hey folks,
Can anyone recommend someone who does a good job rebuilding Quadrajets? I have one for my 67 Camaro that needs to be rebuilt. Please send contact information if you know somebody.
Thanks

Hey Eric,
You might try Eric at www.vintagemusclecarparts.com. I haven't used him, but I've seen his work. It's very nice.

Call Sean Murphy with SMI - http://www.smicarburetor.com
He is an expert at Quadrajets, formally worked for JET PERFORMANCE. He'll restore/rebuild your Quadrajet. Very Very affordable. I've bought two Quadrajets from him, both custom built for my engine specs, both work flawlessly on my 63 Nova and 69 Camaro. Many others have had similiar experience here on this board and on the Team Chevelle board

Cliff Ruggles did real good for me! I have F/I like throttle response and can still hear that cool sound of Q-jet secondaries opening!!!

Eric,
Didn't see what area you are from, but one of the best in the Pacific Northwest is: Joe's Carburetor, Inc. in Lynnwood, Washington at 425-774-5504. Joe is old school, been there, done that. Charlie 69 RS

After he got done with it:

FYI: The only defects you see are on the linkage, and that's because he wanted to replace the linkage pieces since they were so pitted, but I figured since it's going to spend its life under an air cleaner I could live with them.
I'd highly reccomend Eric Jackson for any carb restorations. :)
