I am in need of an Automatic Shifter for my 67 RS/SS to put in the console (it was not with the car when I bought it). I am far from getting to this part but figure I may need to look sooner rather than later. Most ads I see say the same shifter was installed in 67 Camaros, Firebirds and 68-72 Novas.
Can anyone tell me if this is true?? I see one on ebay right now that states this as fact (Item #Item number: 250145762694). I don't want to buy one and find out it is not the right one.
Any suggestions as to how to tell if one is the correct one??

they got them in aftermarket now.

That's the right one on the eBay add.
