i installed the hotchkis TVS kit for my 67 vert and have been very happy with it. I also install the Bilstein shock that are designed for the system. Search around the forums especially in the suspension area for more feed back on kits and different brands. My car had the original springs that were stagging. I also installed the Hotchkis cross brace because mine was missing it when I got the car.

I am replacing the entire suspension and drivetrain on my '67 right now.
Everything (except the subframes) is brand new. I am using the Hotchkis TVS kit. It has step by step instructions which are illustrated and a high school kid could accomplish the install successfully. I am using Speed Tech upper and lower tubular control arms. With new AGR billet steering box, rag joint, steering linkage (pittman, idler, tie rods) I am into the suspension portion of the project probably $2800-$3000 including the subframe connectors (Hotchkis), not including shocks. I did put in a new (yes new) 9" posi w/3.70 gears rear end with discs, and discs in the front. That jumped the price another $2500. It's not cheap, but hopefully worth it.

I am looking to get the car to handle and perform like a new Corvette. I also want the lower stance that you are looking for. The Hotchkis TVS kit is supposed to give that result.
