This is my situation. I've been looking at a bunch of 1st gen Camaros pretty seriously lately, and I plan on buying one when I get back in the States towards the end of the year. I'm pretty sure that I want to get a rolling chasis, in pretty decent condition. I don't care about paint or anything like that, because I've got a plan for what all I want to do with it. But....this is where I am stuck. I'm not to sure what all I need to look for when buying a classic musclecar because this will be my first. I have big plans for the motor, tranny, paint, and interrior, so I think the rolling chasis is the way to go for me. Any information you can give me or lead me in the direction of where to find it would be a great help. I'm mainly looking for either somebody selling a rolling chasis or can tell me what to look for so that I dont end up getting one that is horrible shape.

Thanks
Matt

Really it depends on your expectations and intentions for the car. I mean you can take a pure peice of junk and make it into something if you want to spend the time and money on it.

Check the floor boards an see if they are thin or have been replaced. If either of those have happened def make sure to inspect the frame ect. Last thing you want is to buy what you thought was a good car, and wind up with a peice of swiss cheese.
