View Full Version : do my pulleys look right?

doing the PS conversion, got this pump, brackets and pulley from another member (thanks kyle). does it look correct? the belt lines up nice (it is not tight in the pic).
gearbox and pitman arm are in the garage hope to do the rest this weekend.;)

Looks good to me, but I can't really see how well it lines up. I assume you are using the front groove for the alt? Looks like you are using the back groove for the A/C and water pump.

A hint to make sure your pulleys are lined up correctly........ use a strait edge and lay it on the face of one of the pulleys, then make sure the other pulley is the same distance (forward or backward) from the one you are measuring off of. I hope that made sense.:confused:

the alt/water pump is closest to the engine. then the PS. the last groove is empty. maybe a/c some day ;)

Ahhhh I see, I'm kinda used to seeing the alt on the right side of the engine.
