Great site and it sure helps pass the time while I wait for my 67 in P&B. He's a craftsman but dreadfully slow. The hardest part of this entire build is the patience part and this is coming from a guy who new nothing when started. I'm sure in the end it will all be worth it. In the meantime, this site is pure gold. Tons of very useful info from folks who know. Currently am trying to figure out which crate to swap for the tired 327/210. I know this site will help me decide. - Thanks

Jeff,
What do you want to do with the car? Me, I dropped a GM Crate 350 in mine. Works perfect and does everything i want it to do.

Plans are 10 or 15 yrs of love and devotion. It will take that long to warrant the bucks. Again, I know it will be worth it. Not a racecar - more of a creampuff with some punch. A weekender with the possibility of the "tour" someday with a tour veteran buddy. PS, PB, Vintage Air, probably a better paintjob than I needed. Want to get the drivetrain right the first time then puts the wallet away. My budget still allows for the ZZ4 or Fastburn 385 paired up with th400. It's got a 12 Bolt but may need work.

...take your time and do it right, ...which is sounds like you are.
One thing for sure, ...I don't think a day will ever pass that you'll regret ..."getting a paint job better than you needed...". It may cost more up front, ...but it will be worth it. It's a major undertaking, ...dismantling a car, ...and then putting it all back together again, ...but hang in there, ...the rewards are well worth it...
