Welll everyone, I have been here for a little while but not my son! My wife gave birth to a 9-lb 11-oz package of joy yesterday at 8:57 am:hurray:. The boy has a FULL head of hair and 22 in. long. I cant tell you how happy I am! I truly enjoy my camaros, but nothing can compare to what this little guy does for me!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone who has been so helpful at this site. Please keep my son in your prayers. I dont have any cigars, but maybe I will pass out camaro parts??:thumbsup:

It just seems like yesterday my little boy was born and he is 18 months old now!!! Watch out yours will be asking for the Camaro keys before you know it!!!

Congrats Travis! It only gets better! I remember taking my little guy to my office to see my die cast models and teaching him to say "car, car". Then at about 3 years old, every car had to be red or he didn't like it. He's 7 now and is becoming a great little car guy...he loves Camaros, Corvettes and Porsches :) Enjoy every minute with him...time flies past!

Funny you mention a 69 pace car, I looked at one a couple weeks ago. I went straight home (15 minutes away)talked it over with my wife over dinner, she said yes I could buy it ($$42k) but would have to sell my 66 vette. I agreed to sell the vette, picked up the phone to call the owner and he was calling me saying he sold it, I was a little bummed. Oh well, Im really a 67 camaro guy anyway. I have 3 67 camaros at present, 4K car, 4N vert, Nov. built 4P, which will be the father/son project someday:yes: So your right, he will definately own a 67 camaro someday!

As much as I enjoy the cars, I dont even want to think about him asking for the keys to the car. I know he has to grow up, and I plan on enjoying every minute of it!

Sounds like you are really enjoying your little guy as well!! Looks like your passing your good taste on to your son! I would go a little easy on the Porsches though, you dont want to stunt his growth;) Just joking with ya!
I plan on teaching my son all I know that is good about all things!! Teaching him about cars is going to be so much fun!!!!!! But I have to say, at the top of my list is the man that blessed me with this little guy to start out with, Our one and only Heavenly Father!! The Bible says that children are a BLESSING from God, and I have been BLESSED!!!!!

I will say a little prayer for you that all goes well with your new pal and all those camaros. What a way to start him off right, in a great chevy environment. I can't wait to have my own son(s) and/or daughter(s) some day. I was very blessed to get my first camaro about a year ago at 19 and by the time its all paid for and restored, I'll be having grandchildren! I'm sure some people here have similar stories. I should probably say that all my camaros are unrestored and mostly apart:( I am trying to put the 4K car back together at the present, suppose to go to the body shop in a couple weeks:hurray:
