Anything need to be done to your system if you go back to r12 ?

The system needs to be flushed to get all of the oil out of it as the oil required for R134 is not compatible with R12.

i wouldnt do it. r12 is so scarce and so expensive nowydays.r12 is lke 100 bux a 12 ounce can

What if you pull a vacum on it and recharge?

I'm just curious why you would want to convert back to R12?

Doesnt escape the system like 134a, supposed to cool better in A6 compressors and the r 12 was free from a friend who had it. Most people on this site said go r12.
