I need help to properly locate the loop on the new trunk floor in my '67 convertible (full size spare). This loop receives the "J" hook that retains the spare tire. Any knowledge of a template, or can anyone give me some measurements from their '67 convertible?
TIA,
-Sam

I could give you measurements from my 69s, but I don't know if 67s were the same.

I suggest you do a search, there is a post on this. If not I can get you measurements from my 68 as we are doing this next week.

The two links above are for coupes. Converts are different.

On my 68 convert it is located on the right hand side of the trunk. there are two grooves there side by side that run the length of the trunk floor, the left side of the tiremount is located on the left groove, it covers it completely.
measure 9" from the center of the drain plug to the center of the bracket and bingo..
