I am having a hard time finding the rollers which attach to the lower portion of the 69 front windows. These rollers ride in the two vertical tracts. The front roller has a square back so it can ride in a horizontal tract as well. Is the 69 window mechanism the same as in other models? If so, that info. could help me if I have start looking in the wrecking yards. I have called all the restoration houses (Year One and alike), looked in all the local parts stores and called the glass replacement shops with no luck.

Thanks
Joseph

Sounds like the same rollers I replaced on mine. Do they have a threaded washer on the back? I had replace the rollers on both of my quarter windows and will be doing the front. I purchased the rollers and the threaded washer from GM. Look at the back side and see if it looks like a large washer with 2 holes in it. If so, this threads onto the new roller. They are hard to find. I bought all my local dealer could get his hands on. I can take pics if you need them.

I have some new rollers for the rear quarter windows but they are not compatable with the forward most roller on the front window. This roller not only tracts the window in the vertical tract bolted to the door but also in a horisontal tract welded to the bracket bolted to the glass. It has a round roller for the vertical track backed with a square slider for the horizantal track. I think this is going to be hartd to find and CarlC suggested that I just find a used window with all the brackets and rollers intact. If I had a lathe I would just make it out of billet aluminum and be done with it. Small part, big hassle!
