Guys
I have a 69 pace car with a nos front grille. I also have what I think is a nos front grille SS emblem. Now for the problem,the emblem will not fit the grille correctly. The emblem has too much angle and will not fit flat on the grille.Is there a difference in the pitch of a standard compaired to a ss grille.

The grilles are the same. Maybe you have a 68 SS emblem or one for a Chevelle SS??

I ran into the same problem on my late 69 , the 69 grill emblems are different for std grill to rs grill in other words you have a rs/ss emblem and it will not fit a std grill , the 69 RS grill is more flat where the 69 std grill has more of a V point shape to the front of it , you will probably have to get another one ,,,
