Ok, I have a 68 Camaro with a stock 350 motor with a 2 barrel carb and automatic 350 transmission. For a 2 barrel it runs pretty good, but I've got in my head I need to add an intake and 4 barrel carb. What would be your recommendation? Thanks!

I think I would try to find a stock Q-jet and a 68 era stock Q-jet intake. Good drivability and good fuel milage, snot when you want it.

Good recommendation. Search for a good or rebuildable QJ and an early 350 intake, unless you want and can find one thats correct for your year...

I don't think a '68 Camaro ever came w/ a 2-barrel equipped 350 engine!!

But they did come w/ a 210hp/327!!

Check the letters at the end of the long VIN number string that should be on the small deck pad that's right above the pass. side top water pump bolt!!

If they are either MA or ME you have a 327.

PS., heck, just post back the letters and we will try to decode what you have..

A little help here please. I have been out looking and looking for the number stamping on my motor. I cannot find it. Where exactly would that be again?
Thanks!

There is a machined (smooth) pad on the front of the block, passenger side, in front of the head.

If you have a 350 duece, it's most like NOM.

I just would like to find out what year the motor is. Also, is there an easy way to find out if it has a posi rear end? Also what the gears might be? Thanks!
