I know the specs of the motor and what was done to it pdq67 Aug 4th, 07, 05:31 PM Use a copy of old D2k and it will get you in the ballpark. Post your engine's spec's and I will be glad to run it for you.. pdq67 smokey1010 Aug 4th, 07, 05:38 PM it is a gen v 454 block, 110cc oval heads, flat top pistons, rpm air gap , headers, 10:1 compression, comp cam kit01-425-8, .56/.58 lift 110 lobe, roller lifters, new springs that came in the kit. I also have a 1" spacer, with a holley 830 carb. how do I get that program. thanks dave Badbird Aug 4th, 07, 06:15 PM With that combo, I'd say somewhere between 450-475 horsepower only because it's carbureted and not fuel injected! pdq67 Aug 4th, 07, 06:57 PM First off, a 454 w/ 110 cc heads and true flat-top pistons is going to be down around 8.4 to 1 CR if you used .020" thick shim headgaskets!! And way too big a CC cam, imho......... You need to re-think your combination.. pdq67 Badbird Aug 4th, 07, 07:49 PM That's correct, in order to achieve a 10:1 compression ratio, you'll need domed pistons to match the 110cc semi open chambered, oval port heads.....I'm thinking something like .250 domes. |
