ST 69 12437 VN267124 TR 712 72 B 02C P201 VIN 124379L525124 joe68rs Feb 8th, 00, 11:48 AM the P201 is aparently a Los Angeles assembly plant work order code. there is no information available yet on what it means. check the following link for more info http://www.camaros.org/numbers.shtml yblab Feb 13th, 00, 02:53 PM I have been to the web site before and was not able to get any where. Was hoping someone has seen the code and can tell me what it means. Thanks for your reply. Jeff H Feb 14th, 00, 10:43 AM The code is a production sequence code on the Van Nuys cars. Look for the chassis broadcast sheet on top of the gas tank. It gets glued there from the factory so be careful with it if it's there. If you find it, you may want to remove the gas tank so you don't damage it too much. This sheet will show codes for the engein, trans, rear, brakes, etc. yblab Feb 14th, 00, 07:19 PM One of the first things I did was drop the gas tank looking for the build sheet, under the seats, carpet, dash board, I have looked in all the obvious places. I thought someone might have the same code so we could compare notes. I will be looking at every 69 camaro I see trying to find one unmolested car with the same code to see if it means something. |
