Paint the picture for you: Prior owner of my project really left a mess with wiring! I had to wire it to get it to run when I bought it. So I have no other electrical working parts, lights, heater, horn, alternator was fried, battery cable colors are wrong red = neg, black = pos, etc...

So I got myself a 68 wiring diagram for complete chassis, and I am labeling wires, etc.. then going to determine if it needs a new wiring kit or not. I have a orange wire under the hood on the fire wall that is cut off just under the window washer pump. The diagram shows it running over to the heater area but connected to a little circle not the heater.

Wassup with the orange wire?

That should be your blower motor wire. It's under the fender. It should just be a metal tang sticking out that it mounts to. Maybe it broke off. It's hard to see it but it's there.

Question??
No power on the orange wire....
Could that mean the contact plug on the back of the heater switch has fallen off??
That switch must be the most inaccessable object on a 1st gen!!!!!

Very possible or Heater/AC fuse bad.
