Is there an easy way to wire the park lights to stay on with the headlights? I like that look.

I believe that is normal. The later model cars that have Park lights on with H/L do it in the switch. It might be possible to swap out the switch if your car is not RS and you can find someone in parts store that can read a book not just computer. Rottsa ruck wid dat one.

67 was the last year for the parking lights to go off when the headlights were on. Starting in the 1968 model year the parking lights were always on. If you happen to be old and wise enough to have actually driven a brand new 1968 automobile, you would understand that this was quite a status feature. You could tell a brand new car a mile away at night because it had the parking lights on.

As stated above, it's normal for the parking lights to go off with the headlights on.

If you want the parking lights to stay on with the headlights, just run a wire to join the park light circuit to the tail light circuit. This is probably easiest just behind the headlight switch where the wires are closest together and would only require a very short length of wire.

you could run a wire like others have said or buy a 68 headlight switch.
