Where is the dividing line for the semi-gloss black paint on 69 SS396 cars? does it follow along under the lower trim from wheel opening to wheel opening? Is there a special paint code for all or semi-gloss black all I need to know? I know the paint code question has been asked before.

Yes. The center of the lower trim from wheelwell to wheelwell. I would use the rubberized black paint along there, won't chip. I used just plain old chevrolet trim black on the rear panel. Worked well

Hey big sky, Do you plan to black out the tail panel, which was done for b/b cars? If so, I think I have a book that shows the paint line in the trunk opening. Let me know if you need it.

Unreal, Yes, I'm planning on doing the rear panel. I think I have that same book, 1969 Z28 and SS396 book I think. Thanks for the info. If I don't have it I'll get back to you.
