My 67 rs is a factory air car and is missing its fan clutch. Does anyone know if a hayden 2747 heavy duty will work ? I need to know if the flexalite 5718 fan will work with it . Any info would be very helpful!

The spring type will disengage when its not needed. I also read the stock 5 -7 blade fans work better than the flex. I'll try to hunt up the article with the test results.... Brian Lewis Aug 12th, 07, 09:07 PM Flexalite Brand 5718 IS NOT a flex fan, its a fixed blade fan and works great with the thermal clutch. Consider the Flexalite 5555 Thermal Fan Clutch but I am sure the Hayden version will be just fine if you can't get a Flexalite version. 67sprtcp Aug 13th, 07, 03:14 PM Looks like the hayden clutch #2724 will work fine. Waiting for the fan blade from summit . Thanks for the info. |
