Just purchased the chrome 1/4 window trim for my 68 convertible - the thin chrome strip on the door now, has a felt band that sits next to the window when it's rolled up - however, the new chrome piece doesn't. Should the 1/4 piece also have the felt - is this a seperate piece. Also, is adding the 1/4 chrome a job an amateur restorer can do? Thanks!
