Living in Reno, and participating in Hot August Nights gives me 4 full days of Silver classic car auction. Camaros were HOT at this year's auction. Guys.......... your cars are worth more than you may think they are.
Here is my personal example: 1967 convertible (black top-black interior-cowl hood), SBC with aluminum heads, PS, PB, MSD ignition, 10 bolt posi, Engine nicely appointed with chrome and aluminum, STOCK suspension, TT2 wheeels good shiny red paint (solid - no stripes). $46,000 (reserve set at $50,000). So, I feel pretty good about dumping $15,000 into my $17,000 (purchase price) '67 vert.
I did not see one Camaro bring less than $31,000 (very basic). <edit> Looking back over my wife's notes, one did go for $26,500 that was completely stock including stock hub caps (no ps, no pb, new paint) Keep in mind however, that all were in very good condition.
Just thought I would share.
