The stories are true. I spoke with a Ecklers rep at the detroit show on saturday. He said they did buy out rick's first generation , Finalized last week. He gave me a spring summer catalog and it looks like some of the prices went up. NOT GOOD. Now i have to call them to see if my gift certificate is still good.

That probably explains the change in their shipping policy. They used to ship free of charge any backordered items. The last order I placed several weeks ago dropped any items they were out-of-stock on. I called to ask why & I was told that any item that wasn't in stock at the time the order is placed will be dropped. Therefore no more backorders or free shipping on backordered parts. My order was placed online, so I got screwed on some of the parts that I ordered. They still advertise on their website free shipping on backordered items. I wrote a letter to suggest they either give online orders a way to cancel their order if you arn't going to ship everything or reinstate the old policy. Guess what, it's been three weeks since I wrote the letter & no reply. Iv'e spent ~ 6K with Rick's over the last year & thats the service I got. Gound Up here I come!

welcome to the club 68. 2 months ago i bought felt for my 67 doors. i screwed 1 up cause window not right. i wanted to order another set. they where 89.95 a month ago. now they are 123.95 i said what the f..... i bought them for 79 bux from 396 (a sponsor here) also with ricks. i bought stuff from them 6 months ago it dont fit for nothing. lady told me no returns after 60 days. hhhmmmmm i told them ricks had a 1 year return policy.after about 10 minutes on hold she came back said too me if copy of invoice and return policy also than they would give me my money back.the way ive been treated recently i wont buy anything from ricks no more.i bought from acklers before and got a blowby to return stuff also.i soo glad my car is almost done.and with drclassic i got some good stuff butt some bad stuff that didnt fit at all.make sure it is oer or dont buy .anything that wasnt oer didnt fit from them.thats my experience with different parts people. and old muscle car they post prices and send you item too find out it went up like ricks a 45 bux part is now sent too you with a 60 bux price.
