I carry my camera in the truck all the time and when I'm on the road ,I always scope out the back yards, fields and open barn doors for cars. When I find something intersting ,I take a pic and make a note as to where it was . I've bought a few cars this way over the years.

Here are some pics I took a couple days ago. The funny thing is , when i see cars like these, my first reaction is not "man what a mess" it's "man with a little TLC those could be brought back". It has to be an addiction .

Do any of you have the same ?

I haven't been taking notes on where, as I am new to the restoration world, but I do look in fields, under trees, and open barns when driving for kicks. Saw a lot of old trucks on the way to New Mexico this summer. I tend to think "Is that fairly complete...hmmm...how cheap could I get it?"

I see them every now and then. I need to get a better camera that doesn't run out of juice if I leave it in the car turned off for a couple days....

I seek out these things and I am quite amazed at just how many are still out there. I have seen more in the back woods, country roads, off the beaten paths than anywhere else.
Seen several cars that made me think, "That looked like a Yenko...Baldwin-Motion, etc, etc."

I know where the remains are of a 67 vert., It's setting in the woods on Missouri Dept Of Conservation ground. I found it while deer hunting a few years ago. there's not much left of it
