Anyone know of some of that foil/metal tape that is real sticky? I used to be able to get it in hardware stores and can't find it now.
I found some 1.5 " wide stuff but it didn't stick long.

I remember some big stuff that was 3.5" inches wide that stuck like glue.

I can't find it anymore and I'm not sure what retailers call it. Foil tape or metal tape or aluminum tape?

I dunno.

yep, what your looking for is the tape to seal up the seams on duct board.
just go to a HVAC supplier and they will hook you up.

Joe is correct...We use it all the time. I think its called duct seal tape. We get it in 4 inch wide rolls and has a sticky black rubber side that will not come off over time. The other side is foil...Hope this helps...:)

OK,

I used to work in HVAC years ago. I was a service guy so I never installed. I used to go to the supply stores to get replacement parts. I'll go back to one today and get some.

This is not for heat problems, I just need to plug a hole and patch some of that foil blanket in my back seat area. No back seat anymore, that was removed prior to me ever owning it. But there is holes in it and I want to patch them.

Thanks guys,
