I think it is out of a firebird but im not sure.

year make model will help. if it is in older car. what year tranny and comp and all came out of.

fomoco, which stands for FOrd MOtor COmpany, probably means it wasn't in a Firebird.

Tag ID of HEG is a Tremec 4-speed, used in a Ford car from 64-73. I looked for which specific car the Z designates, but struck out.

Post back input shaft diameter, pilot shaft diameter, input shaft spline count, output shaft spline count, type of case material, etc., to confirm, but it sounds like a Ford trans.

thought it was a ford but got it at same times as camaro.it said online that firebirds came with fomoc trany but never heard of it before.found that on google.
